Cancellations

Banksia and Blade requires a minimum of 48 hours notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. We understand that plans can change, and we will always do our best to accommodate adjustments when sufficient notice is provided.

Late Cancellations

Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service. This fee will be charged to the card provided at the time of booking.

No Shows

Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment will be charged 100% of the service cost. This amount will be processed using the payment details supplied upon booking.

Booking Confirmation

Appointments are only confirmed once booked through Acuity Scheduling and the required deposit has been received. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable and secure your appointment time, design preparation, and administrative costs. Deposits may only be transferred to a new appointment date where at least 48 hours notice is provided.

Arrival & Late Policy

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or, in some cases, require rescheduling. If rescheduling is necessary due to lateness, a new deposit may be required.

Age Requirements

Banksia and Blade operate in accordance with local laws. Clients must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo. Valid photo identification is required at your appointment.

Health & Safety

Clients are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, pregnancy, medications, or health concerns prior to their appointment. Banksia and Blade reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service where it is considered unsafe or unsuitable to proceed.

Clients acknowledge that tattooing and cosmetic tattooing procedures involve inherent risks, including but not limited to allergic reactions, infection, swelling, scarring, or dissatisfaction with healed results.

Design Approval

Final design approval will take place prior to the tattoo session. Minor adjustments can be made on the day; however, significant design changes may require rescheduling and could incur additional fees.

Aftercare

Proper aftercare is essential for healing and the longevity of your tattoo. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided. Banksia and Blade is not responsible for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare guidelines.

Healed Results

Results may vary depending on individual skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, medications, sun exposure, and healing process. Banksia and Blade cannot guarantee exact healed results, colour retention, or symmetry once fully healed.

Cosmetic Tattooing

Cosmetic brow tattoo results may vary between individuals and often require multiple sessions to achieve desired results. Previous cosmetic tattoo work completed by another artist may affect the outcome of new procedures. Clients must follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions provided.

Photography & Content

Banksia and Blade may photograph completed work for portfolio, website, and social media purposes. Please notify your artist if you do not consent to your fine line or cosmetic tattoo being photographed or shared.

Design Ownership

All custom artwork and tattoo designs created by Banksia and Blade remain the intellectual property of the artist unless otherwise agreed in writing. Designs may not be copied, reproduced, or tattooed by another artist without permission.

Pricing

Quotes provided prior to appointments are estimates only and may vary depending on final design, size, placement, detail, or time required on the day of the appointment.

Studio Policy

To maintain a calm and safe environment, we ask that clients attend appointments alone unless prior approval has been given. Children are not permitted in the procedure area.

Touch-ups

A touch-up appointment may be recommended following the healing process. Complimentary touch-ups, if offered, must be booked within [6–8 weeks] of the original appointment. Additional charges may apply for touch-ups requested outside this timeframe or where aftercare instructions were not followed.

Right to Refuse Service

We maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe studio environment. Banksia and Blade reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, behaves inappropriately, or does not comply with studio policies.
